Obviously moving is never easy.  There is always the option of packing your house and moving everything with you friends.  How many people can you really count on to come help you move?  I guess that is when we find out who our true friends really are.

1) Takeoffs- Go make a quick little flier that you are looking for some workers to do some temp hourly work.  Put them up at some community mail boxes.  You will be surprised with the quantity of calls that you get.  Watch the news people…there are people dying to get work, hire them and give back to some of these people.  Don’t just jump to the conclusion that San Diego movers is the best thing to do.

2)Classifieds- you might find in your local paper some small rig companies that have purchased an old moving truck and use it on the weekends to help people just like yourself to move for cheap.  They are also looking for work and need the extra $$$.   This is a great resource to find people quick.  If you are moving on a dime, and haven’t taken the time to post up job requests for movers, jump online and visit craigslist and see what happens.  You will be surprised to see how many independent contractors are looking for a quick job.

If you are moving outside of San Diego to another area like Arizona, make sure to search for companies near your new locations.  Maybe search for Phoenix AZ Movers.  You should ask them what their rates are to unload and help you move in.  That could save you a ton of money and time.
